Successful Career Management 101: Explore what it means to successfully and strategically manage your career, why it’s important for both you and your organization, and how to intentionally develop the most essential components of successful career management, including self-knowledge, personal brand management, networking, expanding your comfort zone, and career pathing. This workshop is a perfect “first step” in introducing the topic of proactive career management to your organization or team.

Discovering & Crafting Your Best Job Fit: Create more engagement, productivity, and “flow” in your team by giving each team member the tools to discover and co-create the type of work and work environment that gives them the most meaning, happiness, and chances of success. Activities include a Professional Values Assessment, a Skill and Interest Self-Assessment, mindfulness reflections, and strategies to communicate and collaborate with your manager and coworkers.

Networking in a Hybrid Workplace: Networking is one of the most essential…and fear-inducing…skills for career success. It’s also vital for growing your customer base and relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and coworkers. In this workshop, participants will gain the confidence and skill to effectively build and maintain a professional network in a hybrid world in ways that feel authentic, genuine, and suited to their personality type.

Thriving In Ambiguity: Success in today’s workplace requires the ability to proactively identify and solve problems without the luxury of clear answers, detailed directions, or constant feedback. In this workshop, learn how to recognize opportunities to add value, establish where you have freedom or boundaries, identify organizational and customer priorities, and achieve success in ways that benefit your company, your manager, and your career.

Building Your Brand: Our brand is more than just our reputation - it determines if people want to work with us, what they believe we are worth, and what opportunities they will offer to us and the organization we represent. In this workshop, we will explore the key elements that makes up a strong personal brand, strategies for identifying the strengths and weaknesses of our current brand, and step-by-step actions for building our brand’s awareness and value to others.

LinkedIn, Resumes, & Executive Bios: Effectively tell your career story and show the extent of your skills and expertise to potential customers, managers, and stakeholders. This workshop includes take-home resume and bio templates, live demos of the latest features of LinkedIn, and hands-on activities for writing strong headlines, career summaries, and accomplishment statements. The class will be tailored to the specific needs of your team and the purpose for which participants will be using their LinkedIn profile, resume, or bio.

Growing Your Strengths (includes CliftonStrengths Assessment): Identify and leverage the unique strengths of every member of your team in order to create a more engaged, cohesive, and productive organization. This workshop includes your choice of CliftonStrengths assessment, guidance on how to interpret the report, and activities to begin to intentionally leverage, communicate, and grow your strengths (and navigate your weaknesses) in order to maximize career happiness and success.

Making Room For All Types: Improve communication, collaboration, and productivity on your team by learning to recognize and appreciate the different personality types of each team member and effectively adapt communication styles, meeting agendas, and work assignments for each type. This workshop primarily draws on principles of the Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indictor (MBTI) and includes a free assessment for each team member and strategies and action steps drawing on several top assessment models.
